AYM Monthly | End-of-Year Celebration 🎓
We celebrated our graduating high school seniors & 8th graders at our End-of-Year Celebration a few weeks ago! 🎉
After a shared dinner, we watched a fun recap video highlighting all the memorable moments from this past year in AYM—from Friday gatherings to volleyball tournaments, discipleship meetups, and evangelism events.
Kevin led us in a game to see which student is the “best friend” of all of our graduates combined through a series of this-or-that questions ...and as it turns out, only Tom and Winnie qualify to be their besties! Our high school seniors also took time to share personal reflections and words of wisdom from their last four years—offering encouragement and insight for the younger students.
We also made the bittersweet announcement that Jessica is transitioning out of AYM to become a mentor for college students in Orange County. Personally, I (Abbie) have been friends with Jessica ever since we were undergrads ourselves, and it’s been such a joy to mentor youth students in AYM alongside her this past year. While she will be greatly missed in AYM, I’m encouraged by her willingness to meet the needs in college ministry and know that she will bless many college students in Orange County!
To end the night and the last celebration of the school year, we competed in a series of minute-to-win-it challenges 🥇
Congrats to all of our graduates! We’re cheering for you as you move forward into this next chapter of your life 🧗
