Partner spotlight: Word of Life

Word of Life (WOL) is a global ministry founded in 1946 and headquartered in New York. WOL focuses on equipping and mobilizing students and their families with the gospel. Ever since connecting with Word of Life, we realized so many similarities in our mission, values, and vision. They are our kindred spirits from the East Coast!

Last week, Kris Stout, Rich Andrew, and John Collins from WOL visited us in the Bay Area, connecting with our leadership team and training many of our mentors. We learned from John on importance of cultivating consistent spiritual disciplines for ourselves and our students, and we were stirred by Kris as he gave an inspiring message from Matthew 10 on embracing risks as we follow Jesus. We’ve been humbled and grateful to grow in friendship with Word of Life, as they have decades of experience ahead of us in the realm of youth ministry and a shared heart for the next generation.

We also just got to hang out with them and show them a good time in California!

We are excited to continue to learn from Word of Life as they have been pioneers in evangelistic events, youth camps, and their very own Bible Institute. Stay tuned for future events in partnership with Word of Life!
