Gospel Advancing Summit 2023

This past week, representatives from AYM chapters across the country participated in a Gospel Advancing (GA) Summit hosted by Dare 2 Share Ministries. We gathered together in Denver to connect, share, and plan towards a future reality where every teen, everywhere can hear the gospel from a friend. There were folks represented from:

• New Jersey (NY Metro)

• Minnesota

• Ann Arbor

• West Lafayette

• Urbana

• North Carolina

• Texas

• Pittsburgh 

• Seattle

• California

• and beyond!!

It was amazing hearing from people who are so passionate about advancing the gospel by training every teen in gospel fluency. Over the span of three days, we spent time connecting with youth pastors, youth ministry workers and sharing ideas, stories and burdens. Our own directors, Steve and Suzanne Suh, got to share their testimonies as well.

Coming away, each of our chapter leads felt invigorated to see the world as Jesus sees and be part of this gospel advancing movement!

We ended one of our nights by signing a "declaration" where each person committed to become gospel advancing leader in our generation. Each leader received a challenger coin in a heart-stirring commissioning ceremony.

We are so grateful for the lessons learned, partnerships formed, and the fact that we are not alone in trying to share the good news.
