MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMP

July 23 - 25

Are you a middle schooler wanting to level up in volleyball? Join us for our volleyball camp this summer! You’ll get to hone your skills, meet new teammates, and have fun - No prior volleyball experience needed :)

And if you’re a high schooler who likes volleyball, we’d love your help! Sign up as a volunteer to gain experience and get community service hours.

  • Wednesday July 23

    5:30 PM - 5:45 PM: Registration

    5:45 PM - 6:00 PM: Introduction

    6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Warm up + Drills

    7:00 PM - 7:15 PM: Coach talk + Snacks

    7:15 PM - 8:00 PM: Drills (Passing)

    8:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Dinner

    Thursday July 24

    5:30 PM - 5:45 PM: Sign In + Warm Ups

    5:45 PM - 6:30 PM: Drills (Serving)

    6:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Coach talk + Snacks

    7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Drills (Hitting)

    8:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Dinner

    Friday July 25

    5:30 PM - 5:45 PM: Sign In + Warm Ups

    5:45 PM - 7:00 PM: Final Scrimmage!

    7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Dinner

    7:30 PM - 8:30 PM: AYM Summer Night (Optional)

  • Tuesday July 22

    8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Volunteer training @ 2300 S Sepulveda Blvd.

    Wednesday July 23 - Thursday July 24

    5:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Volunteer registration and huddle

    5:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Camp (Same schedule as campers)

    8:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Dinner

    Friday July 25

    5:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Volunteer registration and huddle

    5:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Camp (Same as campers)

With everything going on in LA, we want to provide this camp free of cost to support our community during this time. Come hang out and level up your volleyball!

High school students can volunteer to gain experience and volunteer hours.

UCLA Student Activities Center (220 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095)

Parking: Parking is available at UCLA Parking Structure 4!

 

FAQ

  • While we would prefer students find their own ride to the camp, we may be able to offer rides from downtown LA. You can indicate if you need a ride on the sign up form and we will reach out to you directly.

  • Yes! With everything going on in LA, we want to provide this camp free of cost to support our community during this time.

  • You can park at UCLA Parking Structure 4. Follow signs for visitor parking, go up the stairs, and the UCLA Student Activities Center should be visible from there!

  • AYM Summer Night is a fun, optional event at the end of camp on Friday! We’ll hang out, play some games, and share a short message about the hope we have in the gospel. It’s a way to wrap up the week, have some fun, and hear what Area Youth Ministry is all about.
