Who We Are
AYM Greater Sac is a chapter of AYM, an official 501 (c)(3) Christian non-profit organization that provides resources to youth through local events, service opportunities, Christian club visits, and mentorship. Our post-graduate volunteer mentors aim to connect, equip, and inspire the next generation for Christ.
We have local youth groups that meet Friday nights, host monthly AYM events and open gyms, and mentor students all around the Davis and Sacramento area!

AVL (AYM Volleyball League) is an organized sports league by Area Youth Ministry (AYM) an official 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian organization.

There will be volleyball competitions, free snacks, as well as Bible-based coach talks by the AYM mentors, alumni from UC Berkeley, UC Davis, USC, and Sac State. At the beginning of AVL, there will be skills placement sessions where players will demonstrate their abilities. These sessions help coaches evaluate skill levels to create balanced as well as competitive teams for the season.

We are committed to providing a positive, encouraging environment where all players can grow, learn, and enjoy playing volleyball. To maintain this standard, we kindly remind players as well as parents that respectful behavior is expected at all times. Any disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated -- AVL reserves the right to dismiss anyone who does not align with these values.

All players from 6th through 12th grade in Fall 2025 are welcome to sign up. At this time, anyone who falls outside of that range (i.e. 5th graders and younger) are not eligible to register.
