What is AYM?

Area Youth Ministry (AYM) is a nationwide 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2018 by a group of recent college graduates. We began in California and now have chapters across the country.

AYM exists to invest in the next generation. We provide opportunities for students to build meaningful relationships, connect with positive mentors, and grow alongside like-minded peers.

In today’s world of cell phones and digital distractions, AYM creates intentional spaces where youth can step away from screens and experience authentic connection, growth, and community.

Our foundation is faith-based, but our focus is on creating a welcoming environment where all youth feel valued and included. Participation in our activities does not require any religious involvement, though opportunities to explore faith are available for those who are interested.

Join us this Friday for High School Girls’ Night! We ill be having dinner, snacks while we have a Paint Party 🎨 Please come by 6:30PM to 10521 Rosehaven St. Fairfax 2nd Floor, Room 240.
Fri, 1/23 - HS Guys Night!

Join the High School Guys Night for: Dinner, Small Group Time, Nerf Gun Battle, and Prizes!! On Fri, 1/26 @ 6:30-9:30PM, at 10521 Rosehaven St Fairfax :)
Fri, 1/16 - MARYLAND Recharge

Maryland youths will have time to have yummy free food & connect this Fri! At 7-9PM. If you’d like to join, RSVP for rides by Thursday 1/15 @ 240-255-4352. The location is 1209 N. East Street Unit A, Frederick, MD!

🏐 Volleyball

AYM Volleyball League (AVL) is the perfect place for middle and high school students to practice, improve, and get quality reps in a fun, low-pressure environment. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to sharpen your skills, this league is about connection as much as competition.
☕️ Mentorship

Through our Youth Mentorship program, students can join 1:1 or group mentoring sessions designed to encourage growth and guidance for real-life challenges. From life skills and studying tips to college prep, decision-making, and time management, our mentors are here to help.
