IN HIGH SCHOOL…

You’d probably find me finishing homework during free periods and running long distances outdoors after school.

MY TESTIMONY…

I grew up as an atheist. In high school, I constantly compared myself to others, and felt like I was never pretty, social, or nice enough when compared to my classmates. And when I tried to “better myself” in college, I failed, no matter how hard I tried.

But in college, I also started going to church. There, I learned about sin, and how the solution to sin isn’t being a “better version” of myself, but that I needed a Savior to forgive me of my sins.

WHY I MENTOR…

I wish I had someone older in my life in high school - someone who I could share my insecurities with, and who could point me to the truth earlier that only God could satisfy my craving for unconditional love.

I want to equip youth to share that gospel message effectively with their friends, some of whom might be high school students who were just like me.
