WAV2019 Recap!

On March 30th, AYM hosted our first-ever With a Vision Student Leadership Conference. We were amazed and humbled to see ~150 Christian teens from 91 high schools and 44 churches getting connected, equipped to answer tough questions, and inspired to share the gospel.

AYM mentors from UC Berkeley taught 8 "crash course apologetics booths," covering tough questions like "How could a good God allow suffering?" and "Is faith compatible with science?"

Students got to collaborate with each other in "think tanks," where they brainstormed ways to reach their friends and strengthen their Christian clubs.

We ended the day with time for the adults in the room to pray our highest visions for the youth students.

It was awesome to see Christian youth realize they’re not alone as they connected with like-minded peers who are also trying to honor God at their schools. And praise the Lord for the 8 salvation decisions that happened at WAV2019!
